MEET DR. BEACH
Dr. Beach’s clinical rotations included a hospital-based internship at the VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC. Additional ocular disease clinical rotations were performed at the Aker-Kasten Cataract and Laser Center in Boca Raton, FL and The Eye Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Beach is board certified by the National Board Examiners of Optometry. He is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to practice full-scope optometry in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. To maintain the most up-to-date training, Dr. Beach undergoes continuing education courses and training seminars on a regular basis. He also maintains active memberships in the American Optometric Association, Virginia Optometric Association, Tidewater Optometric Association, and the Beta Sigma Kappa optometric honor society. Dr. Beach also works with the Lions Club to help provide services to families who cannot financially afford medical care. |
Dr. Russell Beach graduated, as Valedictorian, with a Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Leo University. He earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated with honors and clinical excellence awards in the specialties of glaucoma and low vision.
